(Course Objectives and Contents) :
Landscape Ecology is a course designed for senior undergraduates or graduate students. It is the scientific study of the composition, spatial distribution, configuration, and interactions of landscape units within environmental ecosystems. It focuses on the heterogeneity of structure, function, and dynamics within landscapes. Emphasizing the interactions between spatial organization, ecosystem structure, function, and scale is central to landscape ecology research. This course aims to enable students to explore phenomena and their changes in landscapes from various scales. It is hoped that after taking this course, students will have new perspectives and thoughts on exploring the relationships with the environment.
