課程目標及內涵 (Course Objectives and Contents) :
保育研究除了人類社會科學的研究外,更重要的是了解生物的生態行為及其他生物資訊,才能夠進行有效的生物保育。
本保育生物學計畫由系上吳立偉老師與溫國彰老師同時從陸域生物和海域生物進行。本學期在課務調整限制下,先由溫國彰老師進行,本學期保育生物學內容會先承接過去海洋保育生物學課程內容。若已經修過者,請避免重複修習。
海洋是一個廣大的生物資源和生態環境,同時是生命的起源也孕育了高度的生物種類.不幸的是人類過度的使用及破壞,許多的海洋生物和其棲息環境已經大幅度的減少.本課程會介紹基本的海洋環境現階段所遭遇的問題和目前管理方式.修課同學將會分配許多近幾年的海洋保育議題和研究實例,進行分組報告和討論.

Conservation research involves not only studies in human social sciences but also a deeper understanding of the ecological behaviors and other biological information of organisms, in order to effectively carry out biological conservation efforts.
This Conservation Biology project is led by professors Wu Liwei and Wen Guozhang from the department, focusing on both terrestrial and marine organisms. Due to adjustments in the academic schedule for this semester, Professor Wen Guozhang will be leading the course initially, building upon previous content from marine conservation biology courses. Students who have already taken similar courses are advised to avoid duplication.
The ocean is a vast resource of biodiversity and ecological environments, serving as both the origin of life and nurturing a high diversity of species. Unfortunately, due to human overuse and destruction, many marine organisms and their habitats have significantly declined. This course will introduce the basic issues faced by the current marine environment and present management strategies. Students will be assigned various recent marine conservation issues and research examples for group reports and discussions.
