同時在課程中要求學生規劃與實施個人小型研究計劃,而在課程結束前進行口頭報告,課程結束後進行繳交詳細之書面報告。
This course takes place at the Lianhua Pond Experimental Forest in central Taiwan and spans twelve days. It includes an introduction to the diversity of fauna, flora, and humanities. Field investigations and data analysis focus on the diversity of habitats, including planktonic algae, ferns, vascular plants, insects, spiders, freshwater fish, amphibians, birds, and mammals. These activities provide students with a preliminary understanding of Taiwan's characteristics, climatic patterns, biodiversity, and relevant cultural issues. Through field observations, hands-on activities, and site visits, students gain practical experience in investigating and analyzing biodiversity and become aware of the challenges and threats it faces.Additionally, students are required to design and implement individual small-scale research projects during the course. They are expected to deliver oral presentations before the conclusion of the course and submit detailed written reports afterward.
