課程目標及內涵 (Course Objectives and Contents) :
為了幫助新生在適應原文書的閱讀和大學教育的獨立思考能力,本課程進行小班的互動教學。認識校園與東海大學週遭(如都會公園、魚市場、科博館等)的生物多樣性,配合普通生物學內容,加強對個體生物以及生態學領域之認識。培養正確有效的學態方法與態度透過演講與野外實際觀察,認識校園與東海大學週遭的生物多樣性,配合普通生物學內容,加強對個體生物以及生態學領域之認識,培養正確的學習態度與方法。此外,也利用許多不同的野外實習來講解生態組各個老師不同專長生物的生態及生物相關知識。
To assist new students in adapting to reading original textbooks and developing independent thinking skills in university education, this course employs interactive teaching in small classes. It aims to familiarize students with the biodiversity on the campus and around Tunghai University, including locations such as urban parks, fish markets, and science museums. In conjunction with general biology content, the course emphasizes understanding individual organisms and the field of ecology. It seeks to cultivate correct and effective learning methods and attitudes through lectures and field observations. Additionally, various field practices are utilized to explain the ecology and biology-related knowledge in different ecological groups, each taught by teachers with different expertise.
