課程目標及內涵 (Course Objectives and Contents) :
動物組織學實驗藉由實際的組織觀察, 讓同學實際觀察組織學玻片更深刻認識動物體內不同組織的型態以及分佈. 同時也會讓同學練習動物組織固定以及石蠟包埋, 並學習組織切片技術, 最後進行免疫組織染色標定特定蛋白的分佈. 一系列的實驗課程幫助同學習得組織研究的基本判斷能力以及組織操作技能.從組織學教度切入生物相容性相關內容,並達到以下教學目標:
1. 延伸組織學課程培養生物相容性專業人才。
2. 建立組織學課程與生醫材料廠的學術產業連結。
3. AI組織學影像辨識操作。
本課程含實驗課主軸為習得基礎動物組織學專業知識及組織切片染色技術,進而延伸至產業應用。無論是基礎知識或是實務操作對於目標1中生物相容性專業人才的養成都是極為重要。由於理論和實作都直接延伸至產業需求,因此與目標2和3中跟生醫產業的學術連結相輔相成。
The histology laboratory experiments allow students to gain a deeper understanding of the morphology and distribution of different tissues within animal bodies through practical tissue observation. Students will also practice tissue fixation, embedding in paraffin, and tissue sectioning techniques, followed by immunohistochemical staining to label the distribution of specific proteins. This series of laboratory sessions helps students acquire basic tissue research judgment skills and tissue manipulation techniques.
By integrating histology teaching with biocompatibility-related content, the course aims to achieve the following educational objectives:
1. Extend histology courses to cultivate professionals in biocompatibility.
2. Establish academic-industrial links between histology courses and biomedical materials manufacturers.
3. AI histological image recognition operation.
The core of this course revolves around acquiring fundamental knowledge of animal histology and tissue section staining techniques, extending to industrial applications. Both theoretical knowledge and practical skills are crucial for developing professionals in biocompatibility, as emphasized in objective 1. The direct extension of theory and practice to meet industry demands complements the academic links with the biomedical industry outlined in objectives 2 and 3.
