課程目標及內涵 (Course Objectives and Contents) :
學習微生物實驗方法,包括操作技術與觀念,使未來能靈活運用這些觀念與方法於相關產學領域,如生態保育、臨床醫學、遺傳工程、分子生物學或甚至是跨學科的範疇。內容有微生物的分離、培養、控制、保存,形態與生理生化特性之測定、描述,和食品或環境中微生物的多樣性與分類學的專題研究。
The course aims to teach students microbiological experimental methods, including both practical techniques and theoretical concepts. By acquiring these skills, students will be able to apply them flexibly in various fields such as ecological conservation, clinical medicine, genetic engineering, molecular biology, and interdisciplinary studies. The content includes microbial isolation, cultivation, control, and preservation, as well as the determination and description of morphological and physiological-biochemical characteristics. Additionally, the course covers special topics related to the diversity and taxonomy of microorganisms in food or the environment. Through these hands-on experiences and theoretical learning, students will be equipped to engage in research and practical applications within the realm of microbiology.
